Data deletion
How to end Kemetova OS’s access to an account you connected, and how to have the data we hold about you removed.
1. Disconnect an account you connected
This deletes the access token at once; the portal can no longer publish to the account or read its numbers.
- In the portal (staff): open the client’s Social media page, the Accounts tab, and press Disconnect next to the account.
- On Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites) → Kemetova OS → Remove.
- On Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → Kemetova OS → Remove.
- On Google: myaccount.google.com → Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services → Kemetova OS → Delete all connections.
- On TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions → Kemetova OS → Remove.
- On LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Other applications → Permitted services → Kemetova OS → Remove.
- On X: Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps → Kemetova OS → Revoke app permissions.
2. Ask us to delete everything we hold
Write to hello@kemetova.com from an address we know, with the subject Data deletion request, and say which account, client or person the request concerns. We will delete the connected account’s tokens, the numbers we read from it, and the personal data we hold about you, except what our accounting obligations or the law require us to keep, and we will confirm by email within 30 days.
3. What is deleted and what is kept
- Deleted: access tokens, the connected account’s record, its audience and post numbers, public copies of media made for publishing.
- Kept, where a client agreement requires it: the record of what was approved and published, invoices and contracts, for the period the law requires.
- Backups are rolling and overwritten within 30 days.
